Top 10 Popular Universities in China

Today, more than 290 million Chinese children require education. Nothing is more important than receiving an education. We cannot emphasize the importance of our education too much.

Advance quality-oriented education has already become the state basic policy of Chinese education. In my view, there is much that is valuable in Chinese education.

In today's article, I'll share a list of the top 10 popular universities in China.

#1. Tsinghua University

Tsinghua University was established in 1911 originally as "Tsinghua Xuetang" a preparatory school for students who would be sent by the government to study in universities in the United States. The school was renamed "Tsinghua School" in 1912.

This Chinese university is ranked No.1 in Asia. And it is ranked No.15 best university in the world - (QS World University Rankings).

Peking University is a comprehensive and national key university. The campus, known as "Yan Yuan"(the garden of Yan), is situated in Haidian District in the western suburb of Beijing, with a total area of 2,743,532 square meters (or 274 hectares). It stands near the Yuanmingyuan Garden and the Summer Palace.

Peking University is proud of its outstanding faculty, including 53 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), 7 members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), and 14 members of the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS).

By the way, my favorite university is Pecking University. This university is one of the top universities in China. It's with a long history and deep cultural deposits. It has a famous lake called Weiminghu Lake, and a tall tower called Boya Tower. When entering the university, you will find it's not only a university but a royal garden.

#3. Fudan University

Fudan University located in Shanghai, China, is one of the oldest and most selective universities in China. It was founded in 1905, formerly known as Fudan University, and is the first institution of higher learning Chinese independently.

Fudan developed into a distinguished private university renowned for developing applied skills in the fields of business, economics, news reporting, education, and civil engineering, with a complete program from middle school through graduate school.

Zhejiang University is a state-key university with a long history and is under the direct administration of China's Ministry of Education.

In September 1998, a new Zhejiang University was established on the basis of the amalgamation of the four former individual universities, namely Zhejiang University, Hangzhou University, Zhejiang Agricultural University, and Zhejiang Medical University, which were all located in the garden city of Hangzhou.
